For every wooden deck I endeavour to take numerous photographs, from the beginning and throughout the course of construction to the finished deck.

Here you will find a large number of these decking pictures and descriptions. Please take time to explore this part of the site as, hopefully, it will provide a clear understanding of the construction process and may also give some inspiration if you considering having a wooden deck built. To make it easier to navigate, we have divided the decks into categories although some decks may appear in one or more of these categories.

This area is constantly being updated, as new decking projects are completed so please visit often.

Feature Name	Description
Large Wooden Decks	These are all wooden decks exceeding about 35 square metres in area.
Small Wooden Decks	These are all wood decks below about 35 square metres in area.
Split Level Wood Decks	Wooden decks with multiple levels offerring versatility
Sloping Sites	Overcoming sites that slope
Raised Decks	Decks raised, for a specific purpose or to suit site conditions such as slopes
Handrails	Decks which include handrails either for aesthetic or safety reasons
Raised Beds and Planters	Raised beds and planters using decking timber either integrated into the deck or stand alone
Decks with special features	For example, access hatches, hot tubs, pergolas, water features, and existing flora
LED Lighting	Waterproof (IP66 rated) stainless steel lighting systems. Led lighting is something I've only recently been fitting so at the moment I have very few night time pictures but hope to add more soon.
Other decking like projects	Not actual garden decks but structures built using the same techniques and materials.
