Quality

All framing timber and softwood decking is pressure treated and guaranteed against rotting or insect infestation for 15 years in permanent contact with wet soil. My decks are constructed such that there is no such permanent contact, and every cut surface is further treated so the timber should last at least 25 years or more.

All non-Hardwood deck planking I use is best quality and at least 32mm thick (most decking sold by DIY chains is 22 to 28mm).

All fixings are stainless steel or otherwise treated exterior grade, also guaranteed to last in an outdoor environment.

Decks are built on a substantial, load-bearing sub-frame to suit customer’s requirements. Whether this is just for normal seating or to support a hot tub/spa, or to entertain a party of 200 guests.

Heavy-duty weed suppression fabric is used where required.
