Small Garden Deck for Eric E - Wootton

This deck was built mostly to cover a “tired” patio. It was raised slightly such that the top surface is level with the doorsills but has a slight fall away from the house for drainage. It extends beyond the original patio up to the fence at one side, the other side is built around the existing conservatory.

Decking in Wootton

 

This is another deck where I forgot to take a picture before work commenced. However, this picture shows the framing mostly completed and weed suppression fabric laid. There is as ever, a gap between the framing and the house walls as well as a slight fall away from house to prevent any possibility of damp ingress.
